I use an Intel i9-990K processor with Intel graphics on it.
I also have the Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB.
At the moment I do not have the Optimus Graphics Compatibility checked, but should I have it checked?
I searched for over an hour last night and only found two or three posts from several years ago about this, and for whatever reason I cant even locate it in the documentation any longer except for a vague mention under performance.
please advise.
I am not facing an issue, however my main processor under x264 (slower) runs at 80%+ and seems to get worse with it checked.

@ BionicTdb
That is an option for laptops which have optimus graphics, essentially, integrated graphics + NVIDIA gaming gpu where the dedicated GPU renders the video and sends it to the integrated graphics for display on the laptop screen. If your system is a desktop, then your monitor(s) should be connected directly to the GPU so Optimus graphics do not apply.
