Hello. I just began using the HD Basic version and the only capture option in vMix is the "AVerMedia BDA Analog Capture". I am assuming that this is not what is needed to capture from my hdmi camera because I am not able to get a signal. ANy suggestions?

As a side note,the AverMedia Center software can "see" the hdmi connection.

Hmmmm??? Is ANYBODY successfully using the AverTv HD card? If so,could ya please chime in?

Make sure the resolution and frame rate selected in vMix exactly matches the source HDMI signal.
Also try different Input types such as SVideo, Composite and Component as sometimes the AverTv card
assigns HDMI to one of these.

Failing that make sure you can first see a signal in the avermedia software.

Hello Martin. Fisrt off let me say thank you very,very much for the reply! I am a complete novice with video,so any help and patience is tremendously appreciated! Well,it turns out that I had to select the second capture option offered by the Avermedia card. I only assumed that it would refer to the HDMI connection as it's default/"primary". However it does require the user to select the "secondary" device.

So at this point,I at least have a signal so that I can begin to start experimenting.
