Hi, I am running an I7-2600 CPU with 10 GB RAM with an AMD Radeon HD7570 Video Card I have 3 Intensity Pro Cards bringing in the video and the audio comes in on the line in and I am running under Windows 7 Pro. I am running Vmix Version 11.0.0.63 x64.

I have audio coming in to vmix through an "audio input" assigned to the line in. The recording is set to "Vmix Audio" and works but if I set it to "vMix Audio - System Mix" I get no audio. The problem I have is that the stream has no audio and there does not seem to be any options for changing it.

In FMLE I can change the audio to line in but I don't have that option here.

Thanks for the help in advance. Brian

The audio is 16bit stereo in the audio setup if I use 32 bit then I loose the audio on the recording...

If the the encoder is set to vMix audio then leave it there.
The main thing is do you see audio in level meters of both the input and output ?
I personally recommend using the intensity pro's for audio inputs.
In majority of cases it comes down to settings.

In vMix I don't see anywhere to set the audio for the streaming. I have 3 HDMI signals coming in from video sources into the intensity pro cards 2 of them have audio. The 3rd one has no audio. Would have to look at the intensity pro info to see if I can pull the video from HDMI and the audio from the adapter cable. But I'm not sure how that would help with the stream not having audio as the recording and the master volume both have levels. I am trying to use the built in streaming in vMix.

When you enable the external button this makes output available for use by programs such as Flash Media Encoder for streaming.
This is all controlled by settings in control panel under External section. There you can enable the output plus define parameters of the output.
In FME you must select an audio source and in this case it would be "vmix audio"

Do you see audio on the program out meter ? if yes and settings are correct in FME you should see audio on its meter too.

In vMix:

Settings:
Audio
Default Audio Renderer: Default Direct Sound Device
Master Sample Rate: 44100
Master Bit Rate 16 bit PCM

External Output
vMix Audio Device is checked

Recording is set to Mpeg-2
Audio Device: vMix Audio

Audio is coming in on an input: Line In, 16 bit, 2 channel

Input has levels
Master has levels
Recording has levels

Streaming from vMix has no audio.
Streaming from FLME requires audio device to be set to Line In.

When streaming from within vMix, wait a couple of seconds then double click the log output in the streaming window and
report the results here or email it to info@vmix.com.au

thanks 1 user thanked admin for this useful post.

Hi,

Did a live show again today and there was no sound at all on the recorded copy of the show...

We are not getting vMix Audio to work well for us at all...

If we fix one issue, it affects another area of our previous settings.

I hope the Audio settings is simplify as quickly as possible.

Thanks.

Could you please start a new thread and describe in detail your audio setup.
Also me a copy of the recording log file for analysis.
