I know this has been brought up before. But, I wanted to resurrect it.
Would really love to see in options panel a check box to enable auto switch to preview at end of play (Activate auto switch to preview).
Granted this could be expanded on in the future. but, I think this simple start would would be great.
This could be a little hairy when looping is activated unless it's possible to have this option ignored when loop is enabled on a module.
other thought would be if possibly have the auto switch enabled on the module itself.
Hopefully something that could be implemented by version 12.

Great idea, I would use it to automate the transition back to the main program after running a commercials from the list module.

automatic switch to preview input after playing a replay (or any other video) would be great. It would be perfect if there is a possibility to choose a transition (in my case stinger 1). I think it would be better to activate the automatic transition in the input settings and not in the global settings.

Would make it much easier to go automatically back to live program after showing slow-motion, replays or commercials. This feature is urgently needed for live sports events (perfect with transitions like Stinger) so let´s hope for soon implementation in next vMix release.

Here's how I think this could be implemented:
* A "Triggers" tab in Input Settings where you can setup functions that run when playback completes.
* These functions would be the same as what is currently available for Shortcuts, so you could do transitions or stingers or something a bit more complicated.
Would this achieve what you are looking for and if so are there any other "events" that should be selectable in addition to playback completing?

Hi Martin,
I think this will be a good solution, very flexible for different purposes. At the moment I have no "other events" but I will think about it. Would be great to have this feature in new release of vMix.
