Hi everyone, I've recently purchased a Sound Blaster Z as my onboard sound card blew and this was the only card I could afford at this time.

If I use the microphone input and record using any sound recording software (such as Audition, Audacity etc.) I get a really good sound including listening via headphones on playback. With that in mind when I use the same microphone via vMix to broadcast I get the most horrible sound input and output!

If I attach a webcam and use the built in mic, all is well, if I use an external mic plugged in, the horrible sound is there.

Would any one have an idea what this could be? Thanks in advance.
