In our using case it would be very nice to have a mysql connector as data source.
At the moment we have to parse it with a software to an XML File.

Out of curiosity: by software do you mean an app or a small server file link (local or online) that vMix data source directly (xml/json) link to ?

It's a self written Software which pulls the needed data (after User Input of a ID) and generate an XML File of these data.

@CaseF

Have pulled from Mysql to datasource ourselves but used a small php file that either created a xml or json , more specifically just echo'd xml or json creation of the query
had the php file either on a local server or online and just linked the data source to it

Doubt it would be easy to get a mysql connector in vMix with all the acces credentials needed and query specifics not to mention the cleanup one sometimes has to do especially if its not your own database

This would be extremely helpful! We also have to write our own php file to extract data from mysql and output XML.
