I would like to buy a laptop suitable for use with vmix. For the choice of the graphics card would I have performance differences if I choose a model with nvidia 1060/1660/2060? Thank you

Check CUDA cores. And RAM, too, of course.

Does vmix takes any advantages from the tensor cores (ray tracing) of the rtx2060?

@ alucch

NO, vMix does not use Ray Tracing at all and so there is very little advantage to the new RTX line of cards vs the GTX line for vMix.

So I understand that for use with vmix, having an rtx 2060 6gb is the same as having a gtx 1660ti 6gb?

According to Passmark, the G2D ratings of the three cards are about the same. Between 718 and 803, with the RTX being the fastest.

The only advantage of the RTX would be the improved h.264 encoding due the new architectures NVENC encoder which has been vastly improved according to Nvidia.
