We all have multiple network cards, virtual interfaces etc running on our machines - there's a shortcoming with Vmix Social where it currently binds to the last network interface on the OS. It would be better if we had a choice of what NIC we want Vmix Social to bind to.

This may also to apply to other features in Vmix which automatically binds to a NIC without choice.

vMix Social binds to all network interfaces, only that it shows the IP address of the last one in the interface, but all can be used
on the same port.
thanks 1 user thanked admin for this useful post.

Whilst that might be a partial solution - I'm wondering if that affects anyone that runs other services on the other interfaces (i.e. Unifi, VoIP servers, VMs). There maybe port conflict.

You can set routes in windows for each NIC or network
cmd: route add [target-IP] mask [255.255.255.0] [local Nic IP] -p
The "standard" NIC in windows is defined by the metric value. The lowest has the highest priority.
