With the upcoming vMix 24 focussing on IRP improvements, please support the suggestions in this thread. +1 replies are very welcome. Thank you all !
At the moment, it seems that if a camera has non-standard settings via its input (in my case: flipping the image upside-down), the only way to retain these settings in IRP, is to assign that input to one of the scarce outputs, and then to use that output as a source for IRP.
My request is, if it would be possible to either use the input (including any settings such as Position, color, MultiView etc.) as IRP source, or at least to expand the number of Outputs.
Any +1's for this? Thanks in advance.

Could you explain how/where you do that? May be it's possible but I wouldn't know how to e.g. flip an image (camera) and keep it flipped in the IRP recordings.

+1
@doggy: I guess you're missing something.
IRP recordings of direct inputs are raw recordings (before any modifications like color settings). you can check this if you open a irp ts file directly in vlc.
The input settings are applied at the time of playing out that event, not at recording level.
That means: 1) if you export the event, there are no settings applied. so these files are almost useless for highlight videos. 2) if you modify the input settings during production (ex. color settings because of changed light situations during a longer production), the older files are played out with the current ("wrong") color settings.
