Please consider adding an option to present a persistent warning when there is no audio output to the live stream, recording, external or fullscreen outputs.

Perhaps maybe a flashing indicator under the FTB button?

Some users seem to ignore the fact there is no audio. An option to have a red or green icon, center screen, in the users face, indicating whether audio is active or not would be very, very useful.

Too many times the stream has gone live, or a recording been done with no audio feed.

Thanks!

You can use the "NDI No audio meter" from Martin Kay:

Kind regards,

This Feature must be added with Highest Priority

I have seen many live streams on YouTube without audio and then youtuber suddenly realizes that he have not turned on audio which is humiliating.

This is very small and simple feature but don't know why vmix have ignored it

Done the same mistake once. Very embarrassing. Not sure how the GUI should look like for such warning, but I'm sure there are ways to make the producer aware of the fact that no audio goes out.

We often Mute due to copyrighted music being played and yes we forget to unmute also but then ...

we are quickly warned by viewers in the chat LOL so we also put a warning on the stream (text or Icon) there is no audio being sent ;-)
Helps us also

There is a way to check if the Master Audio is Muted from the API XML and display that on an input with

AMuted.png (13kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

A VB.Net vMix script solution now exists for this: see https://github.com/rse/v...aster/audio-heartbeat.md and https://github.com/rse/v...ster/audio-heartbeat.vb. The notifies the vMix operator with regular beeps in case unexpected silence, i.e., audio below a certain threshold on the master bus, is detected during streaming and/or recording.
