The framework now exists to perfectly include a UDP multicast option that will emulate a professional (expensive) encoder. The broadcast TV world uses multicast for all kinds of professional distributions. MPEG2 for Cable and TV Broadcasts. And h.264 and h.265 for Satellite and network Transport. If we could now choose these next to SRT settings, this could add a huge amount of value to vMix.
This would also allow in-house distribution for all kinds of set-top boxes and ATSC and QAM modulators.
