LOVE the ability to bound a rectangle to a text block! Huge step in the right direction. Want to expand upon it slightly.

Most lower thirds feature two lines. One for the person's name, the other for their descriptor/title. And while some lower thirds feature a separate element for the descriptor, some do not.

The idea is to bound to a layer or to multiple text blocks, so if one is larger than the other, it'll expand to the larger element.

Example:
Al Jean
Executive Producer, "The Simpsons"

This example has the title much longer than the person's name. If bounding is only set to the name, the box isn't large enough.

Example:
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Bodybuilder

This example has the opposite problem, longer name than title.

If we were able to say "bound to these two text blocks", it would take the height of both elements, and extend to the longest element.

well you could duplicate the rectangle and when each one is bound to its specific text have the top text one a large bottom margin and the bottom text one a large Top margin making them match in height an put one on top of the other.

a quicky:

Not a terrible workaround for the time being! Thank you!

Still an insufficient workaround, as most animations for the backgrounds produce really ugly results.

Another use cas is when the rectangle is not the shape you want but you need a more rounded end.
In fixed size, you can group a rectangle and a circle at it's end to get a rounded shape.

But when using bounding feature, you cannot apply this to grouped objects :(
So in that case, the rectangle is resized, but the circle does not move to the new end of the rectangle.

Here is an example to show how the shape is made, and the results of bounding when group objects cannot be used.
