Hi everybody. I am testing vMix right now and need some help. I need more stinger transitions for merging different parts of News show. For example when going from Political to Sport or from Sport to Weather. For me it looks like easiest way to do this is via stinger transitions, but 2 is not enough. Any advice please?
Do you guys use different trick for this task?

one can easily add stinger transitions by having your stinger (video or image sequence) go on overlay and let it trigger OnOverlayIn to cut to your preview for example with a little delay added plus a trigger to turn the overlay back Off after a time needed to do the stinger transition making it ready for the next one.
Thus way you basically have unlimited stingers ;-)

Doggy thanks for response. It works but triggered input comes to late. How and where to set this timing?

There is a duration and delay part in the trigger settings of your image sequence (stinger) , you might have to check also the settings of the overlay number you want to use ("overlay" bottom right) . be aware of the duration of the stinger also.
It demands a little more fiddling than regular stinger settings ;-)

My mistake. It was set to OnCompletion. If I set it to OnOverlayIn with 400 delay it works pretty good. Thanks Doggy. BTW delay is in frames or milliseconds?
Also how to set overlay to turn off automatically?

Miliseconds. 400 frames would be quit some time depending on your frame rate;-)
for being able to turn overlay back off you will need to use a specific overlay number , say 4 , and then OnOverlayIn do an OverlayInput4Off after at minimum delay of your full stinger duration
