Since vMix 24 will focus on IRP improvements,
I was wondering if there are +1's for:
allow the IRP to not only use Master or the audio from 1 certain camera,
but also to use the audio from Bus A or Bus B.

Even better: allow IRP audio to follow a certain camera angle, in my case:
if the event happens on the left-hand basket, record the mic there;
on the right-hand basket, record the mic there.

Yes, for sports, it would be great to easily switch between the recorded ambience sound for instant replays, and the recorded commentator's voice for highlight reels.

I agree as well. Being able to pick any audio recording separate from the video would be good.

For example if they offered a 6 in option you could record your program with master audio on one input and then your ISO cameras with NAT sound on the others.

Would also be important to auto-mute the output when something is not played at 100%.

I ran into this just this past weekend, left me scratching my head...
This is a must so I can bring in only the ref mic and field mics onto the IR recordings..

Please, please add this to 23, just take out a camera and give me a bus option..

PLUS 100!

Cheers,
Mike

This would be an awesome feature. Recording the Busses and being able to choose the playback bus for each audio input would be great.

We kind of hacked this by running a bus from our external audio desk of the field audio only to Cam 2 and having the main Audio (with commentators) go to Cam 1. So we could select Cam 2 for just field Audio and cam 1 for audio with the commentator.

More dreams:

The ability to play the Audio at 100% when the speed is slowed (and being able to add a sync point where the excitement happens)
