Hi,

I am specifying a system for a customer, but since this is not my field of expertise at all I'd like some advice.
I don't expect a full specification of everything I need but at least some general advice of what I need and limitations of the hardware/software.

The system comprises:
- 2x 4K cameras with HDMI output
- 1x 1080p IP Camera that provides output in RTSP
- 1x (yet to be specified) computer - preferably a laptop
- (yet to be specified) hardware for HDMI input to VMix
- (yet to be specified) hardware for HDMI output from VMix
- 2x 4K Displays

What the system needs to be able to do:
- Display any combination of the three cameras (at up to 4K resolution) and a prerecorded video (in a loop) on the two 4K displays (they need to be independent)
- Simultaneously stream (up to 4K) either of the outputs, or both, or as a completely independent output, to software such as Microsoft Teams/Skype. My understanding is that this can be achieved by simulating a USB webcam but I'm not sure if the output can be configured independently or even whether this can be done simultaneously to outputting two different outputs to HDMI ports.

Any advice on what hardware I need for the HDMI inputs and independent 2x HDMI outputs would be appreciated.
Furthermore I'd like to understand what the limitation is in terms of performance. I guess since VMix is having to deal with lots of video processing for displaying multiple sources etc rather than hardware doing that the computer needs decent performance?

Is all of this even possible?

Thanks!

search this forum an Streaming idiots https://m.facebook.com/groups/595097450699493 where discussions about similar needs are plenty.
You need a fast CPU (at least 8 threads) and powerful GTX (eg GTX 2080) as well as excellent cooling to prevent thermal throtteling.
