I managed to establish a video duplex connection via a 4G modem on one side. (Thanks for my unlimited data volume :-)
-Computer 1 on a Public Internet Router via Cable, I7 with Nvidia K4200 GPU, Hardware encoder enabled
-Computer 2 on the 4G Modem via USB, Intel Hades I7 NUC with AMD Vega GPU, Hardware encoder enabled

Both computers are running at about 10% performance

-On the router of computer 1, I set up port triggering on UDP port 1935 and UDP1936 to the internal IP address of computer 1.

-On the 4G Huawei Pocket modem I made WAN UDP 1935-1936 the internal IP address of computer 2 under the setting "Virtual Server".

Since the public address of the 4G modem at my provider is managed by an address pool (several modems get the same IP address), the 4G modem is NOT reachable as listener and not as rendevous.

Both connections (INPUT and transmitter) were established on the 4G modem side as CALLER.

Computer 1 Send as listener, port 1936 (10Mb h264)
Computer 1 input as listener, port 1935

Computer 2 Send was the public IP address of computer 1 as caller, port 1935 (1.5Mb h264)
Computer 2 input was the public IP address of computer 1 as a caller, port 1936

Very nice...Can I suggest on the 4g side you place a router after the 4g modem. Leave the wan side dynamic..and assign a static ip on the lan side...then Port forward. In thory this can allow you to listen on that side.

What is the latency like compared to vMix Call?

with 200ms buffer it was about 0.5 sec.- 0.7 sec.
lowering the buffer had no effect.
testing inside the network was also 0.5 sec.

oh that is great... still at least a 1 second delay to get a response from the other person if it is 0.5 in one direction, but pretty damn good.

Hi sam602,

I tried to connect. Unfortunately that did not work.
Can you explain more exactly how to build that connection.
