I am using the LIST option to play out lower thirds to an external hardware switcher via a BMD deck link card.

Sometimes (not always) and often when moving backwards up the list I get a black flash before the video starts to play. This is a deal breaker because when using the BMD card to send out KEY + FILL, this black flash turns into a white flash which then puts a black flash on the PGM output on my external switcher....

Videos play fine when loaded individually into Vmix so I’m confident this is an issue with the LIST option.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any thoughts?

Hi David,

I wouldn't say this is a bug, as the List is not designed for that purpose.
That said, it won't show a black frame usually if skipping through the list in sequential order, but jumping to items randomly
may show briefly a blank frame as it takes longer to load the video (as it wouldn't be cached and ready to go)
