I'm talking with a PC Case manufacturer about designing a 4RU rack mount case with facility for a liquid cooling radiator at the front / 3x120mm fans. The general idea is to get high airflow into the case, (and use a blower style gpu to help expel air). 1x slim optical drive to the right side of the case, 2 x usb 3 at front. Expansion card supports for stabilisation in travel. 4x HDD bays in front of the PSU at the right of the case mounted vertically, so sata and power at the top of the case near the lid (would get the hot air from the radiator, but that means the GPU gets the fresh air supply from the 120mm fan at the left of the case). 450mm deep, so can fit into most 'short' flight cases.

This came about due to the lack of suitable cases, and stumbling across the manufacturer in my research. They've agreed to design and make something, and we're working on preliminary designs.

So.... if you had the ability to customise a 4RU case for a streaming computer. What would your wishlist and design input be?

edit - ascii art shows up in preview, but not in the post... so imagine the PSU is at the top right of case, mobo at top left corner. Front is the 120mm fan and 240mm radiator location. HDDs are behind the h20 radiator, near bottom right of case (looking into case from top)
