Trigger replay of title and advance data source possible?

Hi All -

Really enjoying GT - trying to figure out how to do a couple of things. I'm using a couple of different multiviews with background, 2 camera inputs, title in lower third created by GT. Headline in the title is mapped to an XLS data source. I've ordered a AKAI APC to help trigger things, but I'm unsure of how to do the following:

Retrigger title animation with next row of data source:

* Have a multiview broadcasting including title using first row of data source
* Then, want to retrigger the title animation slidiing in, but utilising the next row of the data source


Transition between multiviews, but do NOT advance the data source (ie, data source in title remains the same for both multiviews):
* Have a multiview broadcasting
* Then want to do an animated fullscreen transition
* Have a different multiew broadcasting, but the title still uses the current row of data source as before the transition

Display a web browser including input:
* Want to display a window in a multiview with a web browser where i can actually navigate in the browser - ie, scroll down, etc during broadcast. I've tried Desktop Capture and it sees the browser running, but only ever shows a black box, no content

There is a Ondatachange animation option in the GT title

Would it not be more efficient to have the title separate instead of within your multiview ? that way you can do behind your title whatever you want

Black screen has been addressed a few times in this forum (graphics card dependent)

Hi,

I have built a scoreboard with GT linked to an outside data source. I have been using NewBlue graphics but have been very impressed with the new GT animations and the fast way you can built interesting looking titles.

Question for you. I would like to know if a value could generate a unique character within the graphic, for example I need to represent fouls within a live game, currently we use yellow dashes within the graphic template to show that but the dash character ( example a _ ) represents a number for example 1 so if there is 4 fouls I would like the number 4 within the data source to trigger the forth _ _ _ _ within the graphic template. I hope this makes sense for you. Basic question is can a number within a .xml spreadsheet convert to a different character !!! Thanks for reading this far.

there are a few scripts to do something similar floating around in the forum
