First time I’m using MultiCorder – MP4, “New File Every” set to “None”. However, it’s creating a ton of short files, approx 10-17MB each. Any advice on how to prevent this, please? I only need about 10 mins continuous recording. The machine is operating well within limits, CPU never > 15%.

Hi,
What is the source for the MultiCorder? If it is a static NDI source, MultiCorder needs to create new files each time there is a gap in the recording so if you are using something like Desktop Capture then MultiCorder will not be suitable.
Instead you can route the input to one of the outputs in Settings -> Output and run that into MultiCorder instead.

Thanks, Martin. No, the source is one of the vMixCall contributors. P.

In that case, it will need to create a new file each time the resolution of the call changes, which may occur a lot if the internet speeds are fluctuating on the caller side.
The routing input to output solution will work in this instance also.
