I can't think why it wouldn't be, given that it currently uses what was the most recent DLL version prior to 4.0, and will no doubt soon use that from NDI 4.0. What aspect of compatibility are you concerned about?

I just wanted to hear from someone that upgraded..... I upgraded and everything is working but tonight I had a weird thing happening with my PTZ optics NDI camera losing image momentarily every so often. More testing to be done tomorrow.

Hi,

I wanted to test NDI 4 and installed it once. Unfortunately, the Scan Converter was not available after that. I'm back to NDI 3.7.
Has anyone had this experience? Or is it because of my Windows version - Win7?

I had to roll back to 3.8. NDI 4 was causing problems with my PTZ optics NDI camera into vMix 22?

This isn't a vMix issue. The newer version of the NDI Scan Converter (version 3.8 and newer) requires Windows 10. You can reference the Newtek NDI forums for more information on that.

I had to upgrade both my Windows 7 machines to Windows 10 to get the Scan Converter to install.

FYI: For those of you using vMix with OBS Studio, the OBS NDI plugin was just updated to NDI 4.0

I'm running into hard crash issues on my vmix box that was running for a week straight no problems.

I updated NDI earlier in the week, used some sources no problems, but when I set up outbount NDI feeds for recording clean feed to edit social media cuts using the sweet new growing file features, vmix seems to hard crash every 10-30 minutes. I'm slowly paring things back but I am on show day and this is terrifying.

I'd need to test a lot more until I said what was the deal but the only change today was a reboot and people pulling NDI. I've shut them all off and waiting to see.
