Hey everyone!

First time posting to the forums! Been using vMix for about 6 months full time now, prior to that I was an OBS user. Every year my friends and I host a birthday LAN party, and I make it a point to live stream as much as I can! Starting last year, I began implementing vMix desktop capture and creating a multi-cam style environment where I could switch live to each of the different PCs on the network. At the time (June 2018), I was still in OBS and using a fairly reliable 3rd party plugin to enable NDI sources. However, my PC would constantly drop frames and hang up.

Fast forward to this year! So instead of OBS, I used vMix! It took me a while to wrap my head around the multiviewer for each input but once I got the hang of it, the sky was the limit. By the end of the weekend, I had custom overlays that were double, even triple nested into other inputs. It was fabulous! Also, the optimization and performance was great. I was running upwards of 3 to 4 streams at a time with enough overhead to push a full 1080p60fps stream to Twitch at 6mbs.

Long story short, vMix has been a revolutionary product for my workflow, both professionally and recreationally.
