Hi all

Here's the setup :
I switch cams and videos to output 1, then create a new input with NDI feed from out1 to resize it and add a BG for screen and streaming.
The problem I have is that the NDI feed in my new input is delayed compared to my output1, which results in an important delay on the event screen.
I checked in the NDI Monitor app and the delay is here, so it seems that it's already delayed when it comes out of vMix.

My comp setup :
HP OMEN with GTX1070
Sonnet Thunderbolt 3 with BMD decklink devices
Gigabyte switch

Thanks for your help !

Think about it...vMix processes the video to arrive at the output...which takes time.

You use that as a new source. It can only be delayed relative to the original source. Processing video takes time.

You're be better off trying to flatten your arrangement so you are not looping an output back to an input.

You can switch sources while they are squeezed over a background without resorting to this.

Hi mjgraves

In fact I tried that first, but I need to record a clean switch 100% screen of my cams without BG. How can I do that ?
