Hi Guys. I'm stuck with a feature, on Virtual scenario, is there any option to change inputs with shortcuts. In an example, if in Box 1 is running a video in box 2 can I change cameras with a keyboard (shortcut) with no fade, just a simple cut, and not using the mouse to select the input source in each box? With old switchers, you can do it sending an aux bus to box 2 but in this case. Is it possible to do it in vMix? Thank you if someone can answer this question.

@ pfernandez1972
I think the Shortcut you are looking for is: SetMultiViewOverlay This will change the multiview overlay according to # and Input as the values. As an example, using 3,7 in the Value box will yield the result of placing Input 7 as Overlay 3 in the MultiView of your chosen Input. Another option with vMix is to create an identical copy of your Virtual Set or MultiView Input, but change the Overlay Inputs as desired, this way, if you do a "Fade" transition, the only change will be that Overlay box.

@Ice,
i'm using multiview like you explained but my multiview is dedicated for external output 2, wich is sent to a video projector in the room. the program is used for streaming. In fact, i set tp triggers in my inputs, so when input in sent to program, it also appear on on on the overlay on my multiview. But the setoverlay does a cut trnasition on the change. How could i achieve another transition ?

@ plizon Currently, in vMix 22 and earlier, only a cut transition is possible if using one of the auxiliary Outputs (2, 3 or 4), as you can only "hard cut" the Input used or the Overlay in the Multiview. The good news is that vMix 23 supports a sub-mix which will allow you to do other transitions as explained in the October "Fun Time Live Show" here: https://youtu.be/SzvfeKPI47U?t=1116Ice
