We were switching in-program with three camera sources and a PIP. Very basic setup.
Out of nowhere, cut actions did not apply. Everything seemed responsive in the vMix interface but the cut actions didn't do anything.
I suggested to the producer to cut through the Web API in Edge. This worked, and he continued in this way until a break where he could close and re-open vMix. This returned vMix to a fully working state.
Have any of you tried this?
It appears that the support team haven't heard about this issue yet.

When these kinds of behaviours occur I check for queued windows updates. Even if you have paused the updates, they seem to make the PC behave sluggishly and/or unexpectedly. Run the update and usually all is well.

Run the update and usually all is well. Thanks. However, I am using the ability in vMix to "Disable Windows Update when vMix is running" so it is unlikely that updates were causing this.
