+1 to lock inputs as well as being ablee to lock the whole projects, which would also lock their audio etc so nothing can be accidentally changed without being spotted for inputs that are part of multiviews but never go straight to output or are part of the background workings of a project

+2 or a lock mode - where you either lock all as it currently works or lock individual where the lock icon shows on every input and you can go through and deselect any active ones you want, this would be to avoid having a lock icon on all inputs by default and not looking too great on the ui

+1 A client of mine has an Xkeys controller and would like to keep the first inputs mapped to the same inputs regardless of profile, so their cameras are always on 1-5. Sometimes inputs have been moved around by accident or put in different positions when building presets. Locking individual inputs so they can't be moved or closed, but leaving others open such as titles, etc would be a welcomed feature.
