Change Merge Fallback To "Cut" vs "Fade" - Would be great to have the option

Right now I have a "Cut" and a "Merge/Fade" button. Except, I never want to fade. I either want to cut, or if I am going to/from boxes to/from a source those boxes share, have it "Merge". If I see a Fade, I failed.

It would be awesome to have the option to change the fallback so if I am on a two box with Camera 1 and 2, and I hit Merge to Camera 3, it cuts versus fades.
