Hi All,

Could anyone recommenced a solution to the situation below?

I have a on day conference involving 5 sites in different geographical locations. 3 of the sites will have presenters who will take turns presenting and all 5 sites need to be able to view each presentation. We will have full AV with PA and projection in each site. Cameras with Vmix at each of the presenting sites.

What would be the best way to distribute the video?

A quick and dirty way would be to just have streams going to an embedded web player (youtube or proper CDN) and then switch to different web players in each site but I want to maximise reliability, minimise latency.

Thanks in advance.

I understand your setup as 5 sites multicam individually mixed in vmix and send to big screen. You need interconnection between sites so you can show whatever site onto any given time on the big screen. With streaming to a webside you have latency. If that is acceptable, go for it. If you need a more realtime approach take a look at the friends at medialooks.com. They have some cool sub-second, secure transport options for you.

On this weekend I used Medialooks for two remote locations to main location and on two other occasions I used Medialooks to send Live Video Feed to Cable Headend for Broadcast. Medialooks worked well for me, but the more channels you require, a more powerful video card is required. They recommend Quadro Cards. The latency is indeed sub-second.

vMix Call May work for your scenario as well.
