Hi!

I need a solution to refresh a datasource NOT automatically every 1000msec or any other.
My problem is that I am using a REST Source from a timing system (Motorsport), and after a race I present a result table of these race. But when the timekeeper invokes the following race in the timing software, my source updates and the result table live on screen gets new data, but the event commentators still want to talk about the last race and its result.

My idea is: I have 2 identical datasources. One updates itself automatically, the other only by pressing a key or a hotkey.
By pressing these key the datasoruce refreshs one time, gets current data, and with a little delay I can call the table.
But I can find no way to update a datasource manually.

Or when the final result is in take a snapshot of the input to a jpg and pull it back it , also means you can look back on earlier races

that gives me an idea...

Is it possible to call a PHP Script out of a Vmix script? Ideally without opening a Firefox window? The PHP script writes only an XML file with the source data for the title and has no other outputs.

or is a Vmix script able to read and write XML-Sourcefiles? That would give me a way to save race results for later views. The source data contains race information to create clever filenames.

OMG, I am so new new with Vmix and soon I have to do with scripting...
