hi martin,
i have had frequent freezes of vmix, useually after a short pauze in recording. i suspect the bm mini recorder and possibly some conflict in using and selecting between sdi or hdmi input.
the input will freeze and then vmix will freeze and i have to kill it. sometimes during recordings and also livestreaming.
how can i pinpoint the cause of these events. is there a dump ore something. yeserdays problem was reported to you by vmix itself (send error).
i will try to reproduce the conflict and freezing in my office.
do you have any suggestions how to monitor this?

Hi Stefan,
Could you describe what the short pause in recording is you are referring to?
Also the send error you mention, what was the message?
When the input stops, do you see other inputs continuing to play even if you can't gain back control of the window?
Are there any logs in the Documents\vMixStorage folder to report?

hi martin, thx for the quick reply. i will dig up the reports.
the system input freezes and vmix continues but i can not operate it anymore. the livestream continues and also the recording. but i have to kill it and restart the computer win 8 pro 64 bit.
yesterday i got a message when i restarted vmix with last preset that decklink input had some kind of mismatch. it then continued without the bm inout and i could continue, but not ad the input again.
so it might have something to do with the bm mini recorder and sdi input , thats my hunch.
yesterday i continued the rest of the day without problems. i even used the bm mini hdmi input after checking the input in bm settings was on hdmi!
i will check switching these settings, so rec on hdmi with sdi connected and vice versa. see if that will cause any problems.
the freezing happens after some time, maybe after a break but the last three times during recording.
