New Web tally feature. I used this new feature last night during a live webcast for a local wrestling company. We mounted our cell phones on top of each camera (3) and even though I was calling shots and as most people shooting sports events know when things start happening fast it can get tough to call every shot. At the end of the shoot all the camera guys were loving this new feature. I am amazed how responsive the time of switch to color change is. It's really quick.

I really like this feature as well, although I have not had a chance to use it live, I have tested it and I am very excited by it. One of my concerns was the auto power save on the device (ipod touch in my case), not a big deal just a distraction for the operator having to touch the screen to reactivate, was that a factor at all for your crew?

Everyone disabled standby mode. The guys at stationary cameras just kept there iphones plugged in to chargers. The roaming camera lasted till intermission then charged it for 20 min. And made it the next hour no problem.
Guess you could use portable charger to extend them if needed.
