Save a in VMIX loaded GTZIP file, after it is populated with external Data. Since i can not position a Textfield on the Canvas via API, it would be nice, to save a in VMIX loaded GTZIP file, populated with external Data. After this, it would be very easy to move the updated textfields around in the GT editor. lineup.PNG (46kb) downloaded 4 time(s).

probably quicker or more flexible in the end to have separate Text titles populating a multiview and just modify their individual positions there and even display the change animated using a merge while you are at it ;-)

(finaly with the underlaying title you have eleven names, but moving the underlaying title, moves all 11) And animate them in with the title is also very elaborate.

- you can combine multiviews so no you are not restricted to 10 inputs - what is the goal , to just have a few different layouts of players or to change the positions on the go as it were ? - often one needs to simplify things also , for example does the position of the goaly change ? - why the need to move the underlaying title ? isnt it part of each multiview ? - Merging creates an animation from one view (multiview) to the other. in one multiview one changes the position of the individual texts and then merge to a different multiview with the same element but in different positions. so basically one creates as many multiviews as one wants different views to be available - to make things even easier one only has to build one multiview , and duplicate them for change by creating virtual inputs of the original one and re-position the elements - it helps a lot if the text fiels have the same name as your data source as then one only has to link them once all at once - if you dont want to show the change with an animation , then merging isnt needed , just display after changing positions the one multiview
PS i dont even use GT title for this but just old fashioned XAML titles

this is soccer. one hour before the game starts, the coach presents the eleven main players, out of a list of 20-30 players, and there position on the field. this changes in every game (tactical) i will go for a template with a lot of textfields. so a unexperienced user can easy fill out the template without digging in to VMIX.
@doggie, thanks for your effort!
