I am encoding using Nvidia 1060. Single SDI input into vmix and single encode (8mb 1080 59.9P) using hardware to encode "high" quality (options are baseline, main, high). I was streaming all day same content and motion...hour 7 my encoder drops frames and the GPU goes crazy (177ms almost unheard of!). My questions is - nothing has changed all day, so what happened here? This has happened two times to me personally in the past during "long" streams.
I am doing all the obvious best practices (same project setting as input, same encode settings as source, im not even outputting over SDI, no videos, just encode on this). Why would the system be cozy all day with super low and comfortable readings and then overload? Is this common? Is there anything I should or should not being doing? Anything I should test? Feels very unreliable me please help.

I feel with you @tsulls.

Have the same problem with vMix after a long day streaming. I try all what the support wrote me, but could not get this problem solved. For very long streams i use another software.

Thanks Martin I sent those over just now to support. Curious how far back do logs send? Just last session? Day prior?

One last question about GPU best practices - I keep hearing about the "High Input Performance" for GPU. Is this is ONLY if you have a lot of SDI inputs, or will this just help with overall performance even if you're just encoding and using one SDI input? I'm curious what the pros and cons are. I am assuming if you have a qualifying GPU card you should just always have this option checked on no matter what you are doing?
