Rumors says the NDI 4.0 beta is shared with some developers.
Will vMix support the new recording feature in ndi 4.0?
I know vMix AVI does much of the same, but from what I understand the ndi4 recordings will use a more mac friendly mov wrapper. It would save the people using macs the transcoding.

Thanks!

Hi,
recording in NDI 4.0 can be done directly in studio monitor app, in .mov container and in SpeedHQ codec.
There is no encoding process, the NDI stream is recorded straight to disk, so no CPU load at all, beta is still rough on the edges, but it works.
Multicorder will remain useful to record directly in desired format for delivery or editing.

Nice!
If the ndi recording could be implemented in multicorder for ndi sources, that would be fantastic!
