It would also be good to get this for inputs. SRT is supported by current VLC but it doesn't work for VLC stream inputs in VMix.

I'm looking on using it over wifi links to get a more reliable connection than I can with the current streaming inputs. Hoping to use a standard cheap HDMI to IP encoder then a Raspberry Pi to do the SRT wrapping. Could possibly use a Pi locally to go from SRT to something vMix would accept but would be nicer if it was straight into vMix. (I haven't let tested a Pi for this but it should be up to what SRT needs)

As others have said it could be a more flexible option for remote vMix to vMix conections, though with probably a little more delay than webRTC. If it was integrated so it's connection management automatically altered the encoder bitrate that would be ideal.

It's still a missing feature! It can be really usefull for us... Please implement it! :) The actuall FFMPEG version is now SRT capable, so "just" a frontend needed. :)

You can sneak into SRT with medialooks these days. I have transmitted video using SRT and low latency of under 100ms. Very impressive.

Support for SRT output woud be really appreciated.

If I know well, SRT is comming wiht the next VMIX version which is really good news! Beside of this, the H265 stream output possibility also can be really usefull (for example with Nvidia HWENC).

SRT with H.265 format is a killer combination, I tested it, and works very-very well, more robust transfer with less bandwith (I tested with external encoder + WOWZA).
