Need this for midi devices as well. My APC mini sometimes disconnects and the only way to use it again is to restart vmix.

+1 I created a similar post for this, but mentioned the Shuttle in a USB connection as the problem. But it is similar, in that if the cable bumps or is accidentally unplugged, there is no way to refresh it, without restarting vmix.
Please can we have a way to reset these devices ? vMix is a great product, but it needs this extra bit of resilience.

IMHO, it's unreasonable to ask for added complexity of software in order to overcome a questionable hardware strategy.
