It would be nice to be able to move an input by clicking on the input number and changing it manually. Drag and drop is nice but very difficult once you have more than 3 rows of inputs

I agree, it would be nice to make repositioning an input easier, I like your idea, or at least enable bump scrolling which would make it easier to move a new input up to other rows.
