I’ve come across something that only happens in vMix and its when I bring in a video source from a BMD Decklink Duo. Again, I have no other issue using the source and the Decklink with other applications that bring in video. Just vMix. Video Source: A game via HDMI coming from a NVIDIA 1050 RGB 444 (including this even though other applications capture it fine via the Decklink)
Issue1: Audi cuts in and out rapidly and seems digitally distorted. The source is fine in other apps but not vMix. Issue2: When looking at Stats I show zero drops for video but constant drop for audio. I’ve also noticed that the timing is super-fast. For instance: 15 16 15 17 (8)
Now what’s strange is this only happens from the source I included above. I have no clue or control of its output and usually its never been a problem until I started using vMix and capturing it. Now if I use the same hardware and plug in a camera feed via the SDI Decklink the video and audio is fine. Its only when capturing this game with vMix. Again, the video quality is perfect its just audio. The audio is embedded in the video from the SDI so I have no control of that and again other solutions work fine on the same machine.
