We are looking to put more vMix into our corporate environment. We have a current RTMP solution and are looking to use Microsoft Stream as we move forward. To make this better for non-technical users, it would be awesome to have RTMP URL and login information as a data source for the "custom RTMP" fields that can be remotely managed. This would be a very powerful tool to help manage many streaming feeds in an organization. I am sure we could build a custom FFMPG solution for this, but I would rather buy a bunch of vMix licenses instead. The VMix HD version with this would be very powerful for people that just need many copies for the streaming end of a multi channel operation.
Thanks Martin and all,
Steve

Why not use your own server to redirect the stream? This way you gain monitoring, ability to set alerts, backup recording etc. nginx has great rtmp module for this.

We already have internal servers, they just create different RTMP address for each event. The new Microsoft Stream does the same thing. We want the ability to manage this info remotely with an Excel Spreadsheet to allow vMix to be used by random Presenters with no streaming skills. We are making them a custom control panel with some scripts that run and a "Start Stream" button. Your method would just create another system in the middle that we would still have to deal with.
