I am using VMIX 22.

I feel there is a drastic difference in the picture quality when i output the video directly from camera to LED TV and when i output thorough VMIX to LED TV

Below are all the specification of equipment i use

Below is the live video i have done using VMIX and below given equipment

Camera - Sony PXW - X70

Camera Output Mode - HDMI

Laptop
Brand - Dell
RAM - 16GB
VRAM - 6GB NVIDIA 1060 GTX
Hard Disk - 256GB SSD

VMIX - version 22

You don't say how you ingest the camera feed into the laptop. That could be the defining thing about the video quality received into vMix.

What HDMI capture device do you use? What are the source settings for that device in vMix?

I use magewell USB capture card plus

Resolution - 1920 * 1080

Video Format - YUV2

Frame Rate - NTSC 59.94p
