Wondering if many people are running 4K NDI productions? I'm curious to hear what bandwidth usage, PC memory usage etc is looking like?
Also which converters you are using and how they are performing.

It's early days for 4K NDI. Tom Sinclair unboxed a Magewell Pro Convert HDMI 4K convertor earlier this week. He connected a 4K source and made a casual measurement of something less than 200 Mbps. It's going to be at least a little content dependent.

Hi!, is possible a freely frame rate conversion, for example from 50i to 50p, or 60p to 50p. In a future upgrade?. Other question, do you have a plan for ndi to hdmi 4k@60 in a near future?. Thanks Jose. Originally Posted by: Magewel Customer Support

NDI as a technology allows connecting devices together where the frame size and frame rates do not match. Do not take this as 'standards conversions', but it will get you a signal even when going from NTSC to PAL based formats. The NDI decode FPGA design is not available from NewTek (yet), it is being worked on and should hopefully be available in the coming months. At that point, Magewell (or anyone else) will be able to build NDI decoding into their products. Kane Peterson NewTek
