Hi
Using vMix 10.0.0.63 on Win 7
Played MP4 video happily - then stopped seeing audio track and will not play any audio from any video. Straight audio plays OK.
Using Basic version.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Mike
PS about to go live !!!!

Tried restarting the system? Sounds like a possible sound card issue. Any software installed between when it was working and when it wasn't?
Regards,

Hi Martin
Restarted, rebooted, several times. The audio settings for the video file said 0 hz 0 bits and 0 channels.
I installed version 11 preview and now it is happy again. Nothing installed between working and not working, in fact vMix was left running, Windows Media Player was started playing background music (as it is now with version 11 running), Desktop Capture input added was working with sound, next time play video - no sound form any video.
Hope that helps.
For this job I am only running vMix as a way of smoothly mixing various video files and images on screen with Desktop capture showing powerpoint.
I can run VLC as an emergency backup if I really have to.
Thanks Mike
