I am finding that sometimes the vMixStreamDeck plugin closes down and I have to manually restart it.

This may also be related to another problem I have of vMix not closing down properly. Not sure.

There is a known issue in the latest version of the Stream Deck app that Elgato are working to fix, they have advised
they will have an update for this in around a week or so.

Hi,
in the meantime you can try Elgato Softwareversion 4.0.0.9742 witch i`ve downloaded from a third party source.
This one works really good, even witch 2 Streamdecks.

Companion is a powerful plugin. But vMix plugin for Stream deck is much easier to set up for me(shortcuts, activators). Unfortunately the latest version of the stream deck app seems not work without issues, so we have to wait for an updated version or use 4.0.0.9742 that works without any issues.

If the Companion App featured Activators it would be a winning solution for us. It has been extremely reliable and if you should need to change machines or control remotely you just need to change a single IP address. I know that doesnt answer the question here, but that is the only thing holding us back from going to Companion versus other options.
