Hi

My laptop died so I am looking for a new one under $2000. But it could be more if necessary. I saw the vMix article about laptops but it is several months old


I was ready to buy this one but I don’t think it is in the vMix specs -at all

For one thing it is not intel. And I don’t think the graphics card is on the supported list

But it has great reviews on Amazon.

Any other laptop recommendations — preferably on Amazon?

For vMix you really need to get the model that has nVidia GTX GPU. That give you access to two instance of NVENC that can do hardware encoding. Offload a lot from the CPU. Makes things very reliable.
