Hi guys,

I need to find a way to start recording of an mp4 file either externaly via api oder interal by pressing a key button. But the filename hase to chaned automatically here again either by changeing the api-call oder using a placeholder wich takes the vaule out of an xml file.

Which possibiltys do I have and how would the api-call i.e. look like?

We needed this also very intensely so created own custom utility that renames it based on data (from a title fed by datasource) right after recording stopped
(and a few extra options, triggers etc specific to our needs)
