I have searched the forum for "multiple playists" but I didn't find a solution. If I missed something please direct me.
Situation:
XKeys 128 - Buttons marked "in" and "out". For each preset, I would like to create "open" (IN) and "close" (OUT) playists. The In playlist would ideally start recording or stream and turn on main audio while playing an intro video. The OUT playlist would run special promotions and end by turning off recording.
I was able to assign a test"playlist" to the "in" button, but when it goes to "camera" the playlist stays red and must be manually turned off, which is a distration. When I create a second playlist, titled "OUT" and add it to "Select Playlist" and press the "OUT" key... nothing happens.
I'm new to V-Mix and to X-Keys, I'm sure I missed something somewhere. Any suggestion where to start? I have viewed most of the tutorials at least once, and the Playlist, Trigger and List videos more than a few times.

AFAIK vMix can only use one playlist at a time so such shortcuts are useless However "SelectPlayList" command exists making it possible to do what you're asking for

Instead of the PlayList, maybe use "List" input?
Add List input with your videos. Create triggers for IN: OnTransitionIn - AudioOn - Select your audio input OnTransitionIn - StartRecording OnCompletion - Fade - Select your camera input etc.
For OUT it should be other way around: OnTransitionIn - AudioOff - input OnCompetition - Fade - input of "end screen (thanks for watching etc)" OnTransitionOut - StopRecording OnTransitionOut - StopStreaming - delay 10000 (stops streaming after 10s of showing "end screen") etc.

DWAM, I tried to assign "Select Playlist" to Xkeys buttons with my "IN" and "Out" Playlists but nothing happened on key press. When I set IN back to "Playlist" it played the default Playlist. Maybe I didn't do it right, somehow?
MarkLeib, I'll try your suggestion and see what happens. I thought about using LIST but I didn't know how, so your example is VERY helpful! Thank you!
I must say what everybody knows, that V-Mix and X-Keys make a great combination.

What I get from the documentation/manual is that I should set the shortcut/button to "Playlist" and fill in the name of the playlist in the space provided - eg, "IN". That's what I tried that didn't do anything. I also tried "Next".
I was going to try the other suggestion, using "List", but I don't see a shortcut for "List" to assign to a button.

A list is an input, so use any of the shortcuts that apply to them and as a value use the input name or number. DWAM pointed you to the right resource above.
