Morning,
I test Vmix.
I have a software monitoring with an an UDP input for TS flux.
This input listen across an IP adress like 20.0.0.10 port : 10000.
can you tell me how to configure VMIX to stream TS on this address in UDP.
Regards

vMix does not support TS over UDP by default

However it's been explained many times on this forum how you can use EXTERNAL OUT or NDI from vMix to feed an external encoder either on the same computer or another one on your network. This way you can do anything you want. You can also use a hardware encoder plugged to vMix HDMI out. Software encoders like FFMPEG or VLC can produce TS over UDP.

Use the search feature to check previous posts about this use case

Hi Guillaume,
Thank's for return.
I have understood, I have tested with VLC, it's OK to stream TS over UDP.

lol....
Oui salut compatriote! pour garder la déontologie du forum...
Do you know software to encode with a constant byte rate? FFMPEG is difficult to use for me, and VLC is not perfect to do it.

FFMPEG is definitely the best one for all things streaming including CBR!
Worth a little effort trying to domesticate the beast!
