Hi Guys.
Sorry if this has been asked before. I've searching through the forums for a couple days and haven't really found a good answer. I've read a solution using 2 vmix systems and connecting through NDI to create the delay but I don't have access to another computer.
So from what I've read about the internal "Video Delay" you'd assume that that's a broadcast delay. Like what the newtek 3Play can do.
record stream - playback live on output A, start recorded stream - play delayed live playback after 1 minute through output B.
Trying to do the same or something similar. The confusing things is the naming of the function in Vmix. If I can't playback a delayed live output with video delay. What's the difference between video delay and instant replay? After playing around I feel it's the same thing under a different name.
So to rewrite the questions.
1. How do I output a delayed live stream through any of the outputs in Vmix? (internally) 2. What's the difference between instant replay and video delay?
Any suggestions to get the delayed live output would be appreciated. Other software suggestion are also welcome.
Thanks! Mike

I am looking for same answers; - How do live video delay externally output for catching profanity?
Video delay input and instant replay are both for replay last 5-10-20sec clips in production. We need when live video go through to output, but we want to mute audio during profanity. How can it be done?

Ice Hello, Another option is to use the free Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2I once made a test, how to make a delay synonymous with this encoder. Just try it yourself. Hope it works. Here is my guide in the video.Greeting

Or, even simpler, use the vMix Video Delay input: https://www.vmix.com/help21/index.htm?VideoDelay.html

Hello @ ask, right, it would be easier, unfortunately I can not find a setting for audio. There is no audio output in the delay. Greeting
