PTZ Optics is adding Tally Light control to its cameras. Actually they are re-purposing the existing lights on the front of their PTZ cameras. They have new Onvif codes for turning on and off the lights.
This request is for vMix to be able to use this new feature of the PTZ Optics cameras.

Hi Tom,
Tally Lights are already supported via the tally support in NDI-HX. We have tested the PTZ Optics camera we have here and the front lights change when switching sources when the camera is added as an NDI-HX input.
Regards,

Martin, That is excellent news about vMix and tally lights with NDI/HX. I will pass that along. However, my request is for non-NDI/HX PTZ Optics cameras. These might be using SDI, HDMI or Ethernet to transport video to the vMix PC. They would be connected with Ethernet for control and possibly power, but would not be using NDI/HX. I'm building a studio for a local school using two PTZ Optics cameras and SDI for video. Being able to use the existing lights on the front of the cameras for tally would be awesome. I've corresponded with Matthew Davis and he had enabled the re-purposing of the Power and Stand By lights for tally in a recent firmware update. Here is the text of his most recent note... "I believe it is available in the latest firmware versions and utilizes the following VISCA over IP commands for triggering...
TALLY ON: 81 0a 02 02 02 ff TALLY BLINK: 81 0a 02 02 01 ff TALLY OFF: 81 0a 02 02 03 ff
Currently this is implemented in NDI as I just witnessed using NDI via vMix." Would this be a possible addition? - Tom

The PTZOptics cameras via NDI in our setup (latest vMix) do NOT blink when the camera is live.
I've looked at as many settings as I can - do I need to do something in the camera setup?
Any help/pointers is appreciated!
