when running Vmix in SD mode osprey 440 2 active inputs and one video player, all looks great.
As soon as I engage Flash media encoder the frame rate on all video previews drops from 30 to 20 fps.
I have to shut down Vmix and restart it to get back the 30 fps in all preview and program windows.
System is i7 win64 4igs ram, Asus turbo Mobo, GT9800 graphics. 80G SSD OS drive
Thanks

Hi,

What is the vMix Capture output resolution set to and what is the resolution in Flash Media Encoder.
Do things slow down as soon as flash media encoder opens or only when you start streaming?

Thanks,

Martin

Resolution was set at 640*480 on Vmix and FME.
The frame rate drops as soon as I click the External start button.
and does not stop even though I stop the External and close FME.
I have to shut down Vmix and restart Vmix.
Thanks
Ed

Could you post all the details that appear in the vMix status bar during recording and also when external has been stopped?
For example:

EX FPS: 25 Backup FPS: 0 Render Time: 0ms CPU: 0%

(The two letters EX may not appear at the start but I will need to know either way)

Thanks,

Martin
